"Dear Lisa,
God bless you for helping our Lakota children by sending your package containing a book for the library
and books and toiletries for the reservations. I want to thank you for thinking of us.
We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season, and you top our list! We couldn't be such a strong
family without your support.
Unfortunately, too many of our children don't have much to be thankful for before they arrive at St. Joseph's.
Living in poverty and being overrun by alcoholism, drugs, domestic abuse and more makes seeing the light- especially for a
child - very difficult.
You, however change the bleak picture by supporting St. Joseph's! You give of yourself in order to show
these deserving youngsters there is a better life. with your help, our Lakota boys and girls are able to dream...able to be
thankful for the life God has given them.
As the children and I keep you in our prayers, we also ask you to remember our good work in yours. You are
a member of our tiyospaye- extended family- and we are all so blessed!"

"Dear Ms. Viggiano,
On behalf of the Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition (BNDC), I extend heartfelt thanks
for your generous in-kind donation of "The Four Most Common Haircuts That Anyone Can Master" handbook and the hair supplies
to be distributed to the children of the DOCK (Dorcas Outreach Center for Kids).
We are working hard at the DOCK to provide a safe and fulfilling place. The children are learning
important lessons about friendship,self-esteem, academic merit, and the Christian spirit. Your donation will help BNDC to
achieve our goals- to impact the lives of these deserving children and be a catalyst for revitalization of the Booker
T. Washington Neighborhood.
Thank you again for your donation. If you have any further questions or would like more information,
please do not hesitate to contact us at 259-0996 (request BNDC office) or bndcenter@aol.com. Together , we are building a better future for the citizens of Brevard County.
--Sincerely,
Botavia Jackson- DOCK Manager
